Bob Reese

Bob Reese has been in the wood flooring industry for more than 25 years. At Macon Hardwood, Bob is able to apply his in-depth knowledge of hardwood flooring to ensure customers get exactly what they are looking for: “It gives me great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment when I am able to help my customer with their wood floor."

Donna Daviss

Donna is the first friendly voice people hear when they call our office. She keeps office operations running smoothly and liaises with our largest accounts to ensure incoming communication is properly routed and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Donna says, "I enjoy working on a team that has such an extensive knowledge of the flooring industry and uses this knowledge to benefit our customers."

Jeff Layson

Jeff Layson brings more than 20 years of experience in purchasing and retail to Macon Hardwood. As the Chief Operating Officer, Jeff supervises and manages day-to-day operations of the office staff, ensuring that all products are delivered to their final destination on time and that customers are invoiced accurately.

Jim Duffey

Before joining the team, Jim worked in manufacturing sales for a solid unfinished plank and strip mill. His prior experience includes 13 years of working in Distribution Sales and Management. Of settling into his new role, Jim says: “I have found a home with Macon Hardwood and will continue to develop new markets for this vibrant organization.”

Jon Dowell

Prior to joining the team, Jon worked with a flooring distributor, handling the process of buying and re-selling to retailers as well as DTC. Jon has been in the flooring business for more than 30 years, and has held positions as an installer and sander before changing his path to work in retail sales.

Rob Cottrill

Rob is primarily responsible for new business development and enjoys helping his clients succeed in growing their business and profits. With his deep knowledge of industry resources and excellent relationships with suppliers, Rob can match quality products with his clients’ needs and deliver them in a timely fashion.

Russ McPherson

Russ McPherson is responsible for sales, customer acquisition and retention. Russ has tremendously grown his sales skills in the flooring industry despite having no prior experience in it and is still dedicated to learning something new every day. He particularly takes pride in sourcing hard-to-find products for his customers and adds, “It brings me joy to help a customer find a true deal when we find it.”

Stephanie L. Spillers

As a Logistics Manager, Stephanie ensures that freight is picked up and delivered in a timely manner and regularly communicates order status updates to vendors and customers. Stephanie echoes the company ethos of going the extra mile for our customers: “Taking pride in always providing superior customer service to the vendors, customers and my sales team is my daily goal here at Macon Hardwood.”
