Brazilian Walnut, also called Ipe, has a wide array of tones when newly milled, ranging from a soft yellow tan with subtle green hues all the way to a blackish brown; color is apt to darken over time. Brazilian Walnut possesses a fine to medium grain and a moderate luster. An unusually durable wood.

Ideal For

Outdoor decking as well as indoor flooring applications. Ipe is extremely rot, weather, traffic and insect resistant; it was notably used for the beachside boardwalk at New York's Coney Island.
