Birch is one of the most popular family of hardwoods used for flooring today. Red Birch, a popular choice, is the heartwood-only portion of Yellow Birch, and is light reddish brown tinged with red. It comes from North America and is known for being hard, moisture resistant, and durable. Also, it has super shock resistance capabilities, making it ideal for high traffic areas in residential and commercial structures. The colors are a somewhat uniform but textured golden cinnamon with a satin sheen.
